Can I connect a turntable to this preamp?
Only if your turntable has a built-in phono preamp. The TUBE-T5C accepts line-level signals via its 4 RCA inputs but lacks a dedicated phono input. Turntables without a phono stage will require an external preamp.
Is a power adapter included?
Yes. The package includes a DC 12V power adapter (listed in the packing list). Allow a 10-second warm-up when powered on—audio output is intentionally delayed during tube activation.
Does it have bass/treble adjustment?
Yes. It features dedicated ±6dB bass and treble controls. If the VU meter needles show minimal movement, increase the bass and master volume for enhanced visual feedback.
Is a DAC built into this device?
No DAC is included. The TUBE-T5C is a purely analog tube preamp/headphone amplifier. Connect it to external DACs, CD players, or streaming devices via RCA cables to leverage its ultra-low noise circuitry (THD ≤0.06%, SNR ≥107dB).
