Are there any guidelines for installation?
The air conditioner should be placed on a firm floor to minimize noise and vibration. The unit has casters to aid placement, but it should be rolled on smooth, flat surfaces. It also must be placed within reach of a properly rated grounded socket.
How do I connect to the app?
A QR code is provided which allows smartphones to download and install the app. For Android users, open the Google “Play Store” and search “SmartLife-Smartliving,” wherepon you can download and install the app.
Does the AC unit work with Alexa?
Yes. You will need an Alexa device such as Amazon Echo, Echo Dot set up with the Alexa APP according to manufacturer’s instructions. The device should be powered on and connected to a Wifi network.
I transport this unit to another room?
Always transport your air conditioner in a vertical position and stand on a stable, level surface during use.
Do I have to drain the unit when using it as a dehumidifier?
When the water level reaches a predetermined level, the “full tank” indicator light on the control panel will blink. A buzzer will sound and the unit will shut off. The unit will have to be drained.
