Detail
Fluance was founded in 1999 in Canada with the goal of recreating audio performances the way the artist intended. We expanded the audio line-up to include Powered Speakers and HiFi turntables.
At Fluance, we believe everyone should experience sound as the artist intended - whether it's the thrill of a live concert or the detailed notes of each instrument. In this spirit of authentic audio reproduction, we present the Ri71 Powered Bookshelf Speakers.
These active speakers feature Air Motion Transformer tweeters that offer exceptionally wide dynamic range, low distortion and a natural listening experience. Their fast response and optimal phase behavior ensure exceptional audio precision.
Our proprietary waveguide is developed to widen the tweeter's sweet spot, enhance stereo imaging and complement the woofer's sound propagation. As a result, the soundstage is expansive with even tonality.
The low mass and highly responsive 5-inch woven glass fiber drivers deliver detailed and accurate midrange frequencies. Its rigid cone is engineered to offer clean, undistorted and powerful low frequencies.
The acoustically inert MDF wood cabinets with internal bracing minimize resonance and the curved design reduces standing waves. The tuned front-firing ports provide a time-aligned bass response.
The Ri71 Bluetooth bookshelf speakers offer acoustic excellence with the ultra-low noise 120-watt Class D amplifier and digital signal processing, enhancing the vocal range, bass response and overall balance. The amplifier, drivers, crossovers and cabinet are perfectly tuned.
Enjoy high-quality wireless audio with Bluetooth aptX HD and AAC codecs. It also includes HDMI ARC for home theater, RCA inputs for turntables (preamp needed), subwoofer output with an 80Hz active crossover filter and remote-controlled bass/treble customization.
What is the difference between Ai61 and RI71?
Both Ai61 and Ri71 output 120W, but Ri71 features an AMT tweeter for better highs, aptX Bluetooth for high quality wireless audio, and HDMI ARC for easy setup. It’s a completely new product line, not based on Ai61.
What is an AMT tweeter and why is it better than a silk dome?
An AMT tweeter improves high-frequency and vocal clarity. Its engineered waveguide ensures wide off-axis dispersion, letting you enjoy great sound even at wider angles.
