    Applicaton of Home Theater: setup a home theater to have an amp behind the TV and output clean audio directly into the amp. Running a single fiber cable was easy up into my attic and back to the receiver device, connect this directly to the speaker amp behind my couch and have rear channel audio without any degradation of quality.
