About the iDatalink HRN-HRR-HK2 Vehicle-specific Harness
iDatalink's HRN-HRR-HK2 wiring adapter allows you to connect a new iDatalink-compatible car stereo in select 2010-18 Hyundai and Kia vehicles, working in conjunction with iDatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR2 module (sold separately). Once connected, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls and facroty amp in these vehicles.

The package includes connectors that plug in between the Maestro module, your factory radio's wiring plugs, and your new car stereo. You'll have to solder or splice together this harness's power/ground, illumination, speaker, and navigation output wires to the corresponding wires on your aftermarket receiver's wiring harness.

An iDatalink-ready car stereo takes full advantage of this harness
If you're buying a compatible iDatalink-ready car stereo, you'll enjoy the outstanding performance of your receiver, plus seamless touchscreen control over most of the factory features in select Hyundai or Kia-built vehicles, including your backup camera and vehicle settings menu. You'll also appreciate the additional features added by the adapter, including the ability to view performance gauges and vehicle information on the screen with select iDatalink-ready receivers. This harness features an in-line head-unit connector harness, which will plug into their new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for select radio brands. If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, you simply cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.

Keeping your factory cameras and more
This harness allows you to retain the backup camera (and front and side cameras if present) in your Hyundai or Kia, as long as your receiver has the necessary inputs. In addition, you'll also keep your rear-seat entertainment (RSE) system, parking assist feature, and climate status display, and you'll be able to view engine performance data and other vehicle info on your receiver's screen.

The HRN-HRR-HK2 is NOT compatible with the Idatalink Maestro ADS-MRR interface module, you MUST use it in conjunction with the ADS-MRR2.
