1. Unit won’t turn on: Check that batteries are fresh and installed correctly (match the +/–). Confirm the power switch is set to “ON.” Look for the green indicator light — if it doesn’t flash, replace batteries.
2. No catch after several days: Move the zapper to an area where you see rodent activity (droppings, chew marks, wall edges). Use a small amount of fresh bait like peanut butter, chocolate, or nuts.
Ensure the bait is placed inside the trap, not blocking the entry.
3. Rodent triggered the trap but not zapped:
Check that the metal plates inside are clean and free of dust, fur, or debris.Wipe the plates with a dry cloth — moisture or dirt can reduce effectiveness. Confirm the unit is flat and stable on the ground.
