Pool Rx+ contains three active ingredients Copper Sulphate, Zinc Sulfate and Silver Nitrate, adding additional layers of protection to the original Pool Rx formula you have come to trust. The Pool Rx+ Blue Booster is an EPA Registered, NSF/ANSI 50 Certified, algaecide that supports 7.5K-20K gallons water. The Pool Rx+ Booster is used to replace Pool Rx+ minerals contained in a Pool Rx+ pool unit, after 4-6 months of use in your pool. The Pool Rx+ Booster can also be used to increase the amount of minerals upon install of a new Pool Rx+ pool unit in pools larger than 20K gallons. The Pool Rx+ Booster minerals are the same minerals that are contained inside a new Pool Rx+ pool unit. Start with a new Pool Rx+ pool unit at the beginning of each swim season. For year-round pool use, add a Pool Rx+ Booster after 6 months or if you see algae coming back sooner. Pool Rx+ products can support any size body of water & are ideal for use in Chlorine, Salt, UV or Ozone pools.

Replace the Pool Rx+ spa/hot tub unit every time the spa/hot tub is drained and refilled, or if algae is coming back or the water looks a little dull, even though the water is balanced, and has at least 0.5-1.0 ppm of chlorine.
