To ensure safety during shipping, our 5lb bucket of chlorine granules is sealed with an extra-tight lid, as required by law for transporting spa chemicals. Every brand shipping a bucket of chemicals must abide by this.

To open it easily, we recommend using a flat tool, like a screwdriver, to carefully pry around the edge of the lid. This secure seal helps prevent spills and keeps the product safe during transit.

We wish this wasn't required as well. 🫠 The good news is that when using a tool, it's actually pretty easy to open it.
