The Louis Carpini G2 Violin is the top of the student level violins available in sizes from 1/8 through 4/4. Next, all final assembly and FREE setup is performed locally in our Washington State shop by our professionally trained luthier staff. NO assembly or setup is required with a violin that is ready to play from the moment you open the case.

Follow these instructions for the most accurate size: First, with arm outstretched to the side, measure the player's arm from the base of neck to mid-palm. Check the size chart below for the right size of violin according to arm length measurement. Always choose the smaller size if the student is in-between sizes. A larger instrument will hinder the student’s ability to play properly. The deciding factor is if the student is able to, or very close to, playing the 4th finger. If they can reach this fingering the violin will be usable.

1. Extend arm fully to the side and perpendicular to the body.
2. Measure from the base of the neck to the middle of the palm.
3. If you are between sizes, size down.
