  • The TKP3 works with the third-party gate opener or garage door opener whose control board accepts “Normally Open Dry Contact” signal for push button.

    Connect with TOPENS ERM12 receiver (sold separately). The ERM12 can be powered by 9-24VDC from the control board or external power source.

  • Where should I Install the TKP3 keypad?

    It is suggested to install the keypad on the same side of the control board and away from any metal structure.

    The keypad should be mounted on a clean, solid & flat surface.

    The keypad mounting post is NOT included.

  • How to Ensure Clear Signal Transmission?

    For clear signal transmission, please do not put the control board in a metal box.

    It is NOT suggested to use the keypad at signal towers, electrical substations and confined spaces.

    Some buildings or obstructions may affect the control range.

  • How to Extend the Control Range?

    To extend the control range, it is recommended to pull the antenna out of the control box, or add an ERM12 receiver (sold separately) to the control board.

  • What Are the Indictions for Replacing the Battery?

    If the beep sound and backlight are extremely low when pressing the button or the control range decreases greatly, the batteries need replacement.

    Either disposable or rechargeable batteries can be used.
