The Marineland® Magniflow® 400 Canister Filter offers powerful, complete three-stage filtration that works with both freshwater and saltwater aquariums for a clean and healthy aquatic environment. It filters 400 gallons per hour for aquariums up to 100 gallons and is compatible with Marineland® Rite-Size™ T filter media. Plus, it’s easy to set up and easy to maintain! The canister lid ensures a watertight seal and can be lifted up for easy removal. A quick prime button fills the filter chamber with water for self-priming system startup. Stack N’ Flo™ Filter Trays force water to flow through media layers that provide mechanical, chemical and biological filtration. Other parts of the canister filter include intake/outlet U-tubes, strainer, elbow & diffuser, suction cups and vinyl tubing. The Bio-Filter Balls and ceramic filter rings provide a large, multi-faceted surface area for the growth of Bio-Spira® bacteria and the beneficial ammonia-neutralizing bacteria responsible for biological filtration. Inside the carbon bag, Black Diamond® Premium Activated Carbon removes odors, discoloration and water impurities for chemical filtration. The Rite-Size™ T filter foam pads screen out dirt and debris for mechanical filtration while enhancing biological filtration. The Rite-Size™ T polishing filter pads act as water polishers, removing particulate dirt and fine debris.
